Haw. Code R. § 16-74-182 - Duties
The announcer shall also act as "master of ceremonies". Announcers are strictly forbidden to make any announcement whatsoever except when authorized to do so by the commission or its authorized representative at the ringside. The announcer shall receive from the chief inspector a statement of weights for all contests and shall make his announcement therefrom.
