Haw. Code R. § 16-77-12 - Application fees

(a) Every application for a license shall be accompanied by the appropriate fees provided in chapter 16-53 and a contractors education fund fee of ten dollars. These fees may be paid by money order or check made payable to the "Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs."

(b) For purposes of this chapter, the dishonoring of any check upon first deposit shall constitute a failure to meet the fee requirements.
