Haw. Code R. § 16-77-39 - Examination - part I

All applicants for a contractor's license shall be required to take and successfully pass a written examination designed to test the applicant's general knowledge of the building, safety, health, labor, and lien laws of the State and of the basic administrative principles of the contracting business.
