Haw. Code R. § 16-78-14 - Demand for hearing
Any person whose application for admission to the examination, for the issuance, or restoration of a license, or registration has been denied by the board, shall be entitled to a hearing; provided that a demand for a hearing is filed with the board within sixty days of the date of the letter informing the applicant of the denial of application; and provided further that this section shall not apply to a denial based on the failure to file an application within the period provided by this chapter.
