Haw. Code R. § 16-81-10 - Renewal of license

(a) A license shall be renewed on or before June 30 of every even-numbered year. To renew a license, a licensee shall timely submit a renewal application and the applicable renewal fees.
(b) Renewal fees paid by mail shall not be considered delinquent if the envelope is postmarked by the United States Postal Service before July 1 of the year in which the fees are due.
(c) Failure to renew a license by the renewal deadline date shall cause a license to be forfeited. Continuing to perform work as an elevator mechanic shall constitute unlicensed activity. At a minimum, any person who engages in unlicensed activity shall be subject to section 448H-10, HRS.
