Haw. Code R. § 16-85-44 - Authority and purpose

The purpose of this subchapter is to implement section 453-5.3, HRS, which delegates to the board of medical examiners the responsibility to adopt rules regarding standards of medical education and training governing physician assistants, such standards to equal but not be limited by existing national education and training standards, and the degree of supervision required by a supervising physician.
