Haw. Code R. § 16-98-16 - Examination waiver or temporary permit
(a) An application
for license or temporary permit may be filed at any time by a person who is
certified or licensed to practice psychology in another state having standards
equivalent to those set forth in subchapter 5.
(b) The application shall be accompanied by
the application and examination fees, of which the application fee shall not be
refunded.
(c) The board shall
determine the sufficiency of qualifications of applicants for examination
waiver or for temporary permit as the case may be.
(d) An applicant shall be required to appear
before the board for a personal interview.
(e) Applicants who are otherwise qualified
shall be required to pass an examination covering chapter 465, HRS, and the
rules adopted thereunder.
