Haw. Code R. § 17-1601-1 - Purpose

The purpose of this chapter shall be to specify the conditions under which the department of human services, social services division, child welfare services branch (DHS-SSD-CWSB), may disclose information gathered and maintained by the child welfare services branch (CWSB) related to:

(1) Individuals who are subjects of a child abuse 1601-1 or neglect report investigated by the CWSB;

(2) Individuals who are provided services by the CWSB; and

(3) Any other information gathered and maintained by the CWSB, including but not limited to foster home licensing records.
