Haw. Code R. § 17-1601-7 - Restrictions against disclosure of proceedings and records relating to adoptions
(a) All
information, documents, and records relating to an adoption and filed in court
shall be confidential and shall be released pursuant to section
578-15,
HRS.
(b) Information, documents and
records relating to an adoption but not filed in court shall be confidential
and may only be released by the department in accordance with this
chapter.
