Haw. Code R. § 17-2026-41 - Loan requirements
(a) A provider
agency shall determine the terms of any program assistance given in the form of
a loan, subject to this section. A provider agency may require other terms not
inconsistent with those set by this section.
(b) Program assistance loans shall:
(1) Have a signed promissory note payable to
the State of Hawaii;
(2) Carry no
interest;
(3) Have no closing costs
or other fees; and
(4) Have a term
of not more than twelve months from receipt of the loan, except for rental
deposit loans, which may have terms of not more than twenty-four
months.
(c) The current
loan balance of any non-delinquent participant shall be applied toward the loan
limits established in section 17-2026-38.
