Haw. Code R. § 17-401.1-32 - Technical assistance and other consultation services
(a)
Technical assistance and other consultation services to conduct market
analyses, develop business plans, and otherwise provide resources, to the
extent those resources are authorized to be provided through the statewide
workforce investment system, shall be available to eligible individuals who are
pursuing self-employment or telecommuting or establishing a small business
operation as an employment outcome.
(b) Referral of an eligible individual to the
specific program component of the statewide workforce investment system
responsible for other resources, to the extent available, shall be made by the
division and shall consist of:
(1) A notice
of the referral by the division to the agency responsible for providing the
services; and
(2) Information
identifying a specific point of contact within the agency responsible for
providing the services.
(c) These services are subject to the
comparable services and benefits provisions of section 17-401.1-13 and personal
resources provisions of section 17-401.1-14.
