Haw. Code R. § 17-647-42 - Expedited service provision

This subchapter provides the income calculation procedures, certification and verification procedures, the processing standard, and other special procedures applicable only to households receiving benefits on an expedited basis. The following households are entitled to expedited service:

(1) Households with less than $150 in monthly gross income and whose liquid resources (i.e., cash on hand, checking or savings accounts, savings certificates, etc.) do not exceed $100;
(2) Seasonal farmworker households who are destitute as defined in section 17-647-49 and whose liquid resources do not exceed $100;
(3) Eligible households whose combined monthly gross income and liquid resources are less than the household's monthly rent or mortgage, and utility costs.
