Haw. Code R. § 17-656.1-1 - Purpose
This chapter identifies the eligibility requirements applicants and recipients shall meet to receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), formerly known as aid to families with dependent children (AFDC), in accordance with the Personal Responsibilities and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996.
