Haw. Code R. § 17-656.1-8.3 - Single custodial parent caring for a child less than six months of age

A single custodial parent caring for a child who has not attained 6 months of age may not be subject to participation requirements as specified in chapter 17-794.1. Non-participation will:

(1) Be for increments of one month;

(2) Not exceed a lifetime limit of twelve months effective July 1997; and

(3) Not be allowed when the other parent resides with the household.
