Haw. Code R. § 17-678-12 - Payment for special circumstance allowances

Assistance payment shall be authorized when the need for the following items is verified and reported to the department within ten days of the special circumstance occurring:

(1) Rental deposits;

(2) Utility deposits;

(3) Repair or replacement of household appliances;

(4) Allowance for general assistance recipients assigned to a temporary labor force (TLF); and

(5) Natural disaster assistance.
