Haw. Code R. § 17-798.3-21 - Administrative appeal requests
(a) A caretaker may
file a written request for an administrative appeal, in accordance with the
provisions set forth in chapter 17-602.1, when the caretaker disagrees with the
department's adverse action to deny, reduce, suspend, or terminate payment, or
with the department's determination of an overpayment.
(b) Child care payments shall not continue
during the appeal process.
