Haw. Code R. § 19-122-11 - Knowledge tests for renewal license

If the applicant for a renewal license wants to retain a hazardous materials endorsement, the applicant must take a special knowledge examination in the English language on how to recognize, handle, and transport hazardous materials. The examination shall consist of not less than thirty questions. The applicant shall be considered to have passed the knowledge test if at least eighty per cent of the questions have been answered correctly.
