Haw. Code R. § 19-133.2-33 - Inspection of horns

(a) Horns shall be inspected for operation and audibility

(b) No certificate of inspection shall be issued if any of the following occurs:

(1) A horn is inoperative or not appropriately audible;

(2) The location of the horn switch is not readily accessible to the operator; or

(3) Sirens, bells and other excessively loud warning devices, such as air horns (on small vehicles) are installed, except on emergency vehicles.
