Haw. Code R. § 19-135-17 - Inspection stations; supervision by the county agency
The county agency shall exercise supervisory control over all inspection stations under its jurisdiction.
This supervisory function shall include, but not be limited to the following activities:
(1) Issuing any forms as may be required for:
(A) The preparation and maintenance of
electronic records concerning inspections;
(B) The use and condition of inspection
station facilities and equipment used to inspect mopeds;
(2) Monitoring and inspecting inspection
stations for compliance with this chapter by observing:
(A) The procedures used to inspect
mopeds;
(B) The condition of moped
inspection facilities and equipment used in moped inspections;
(C) The condition and accuracy of test
equipment used in moped inspections;
(3) Analyzing official electronic moped
inspection records to evaluate the performance of inspection stations and take
appropriate action as may be indicated;
(4) Reviewing electronic records for each
inspection station.
