Haw. Code R. § 19-139-4 - Fees

(a) Students will be responsible for paying all fees for driver education, simulator, and behind-the-wheel driving courses. The maximum fee charged by an instructor for each student shall not exceed:
(1) $250 per person for driver's education classroom instruction;
(2) $100 per person for an on-line or internet course;
(3) $50 per hour for behind-the-wheel driving lessons; and
(4) $250 per person for a simulator course.
(b) Fees shall be reviewed biannually by the department and shall be adjusted when the consumer price index for transportation in the state of Hawaii rises more than two percent in the previous two years.
