Haw. Code R. § 19-170-179 - Street names
The authority to approve or to disapprove street names shall be vested in the executive officer, upon consultation with the department of land utilization of the City. Street names may or may not conform to article 8 of chapter 22, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu, as amended.
