Haw. Code R. § 19-170-192 - Street trees
The subdivider shall develop a street tree planting plan for each subdivision indicating the quantities, locations, types, size, and planting specifications which shall be reviewed and approved by the executive officer. The subdivider shall plant the street trees in conformance with the standards of the city department of recreation, or as otherwise approved by the executive officer. The subdivider shall plant and maintain the street trees to the acceptability of the executive officer.
