Haw. Code R. § 19-170-194 - Construction plans
(a) After the
subdivider has received tentative approval of the preliminary map from the
executive officer, and before beginning construction of improvements, the
subdivider shall prepare and submit construction plans and specifications
showing details of grading, road construction, drainage structures, sewers,
water, and all other utilities, improvements, landscaping and planting proposed
to be installed in the proposed subdivision, in conformance with the approved
preliminary map. The construction plans shall be drawn on acceptable tracing
medium to City standards as to size and general drafting practice. Included
with the construction plans shall be a general layout map showing the location
of lots and streets and the location of water lines, sewer mains, drainage
system, and other utilities.
(b)
The subdivider shall submit copies of the construction plans to the executive
officer or other agencies as required by the executive officer, for their
consideration, comments, and recommendations. Plans submitted for approval
shall bear the stamp of an engineer, or other licensed professional, as
appropriate, in accordance with the rules of the state department of commerce
and consumer affairs.
(c)
Construction plans shall be considered approved for construction purposes when
the construction plans bear the approval signature of the executive officer. No
construction work shall commence without the approved construction
plans.
