Haw. Code R. § 19-170-60 - Requirement of development permit
(a) A building
permit shall not be issued for any development within the Aloha Tower project
area until the developer has obtained from the corporation a development permit
certifying that the development complies with this chapter and the development
plan.
(b) An application to the
corporation for a development permit shall include complete, detailed
information showing that the development complies with all of the provisions of
this chapter and the development plan. The corporation may determine the nature
and extent of the information required in the application.
(c) Prior to submission of an application to
the development corporation which impacts or affects the operations or maritime
facilities of the department of transportation (DOT), state of Hawaii, the
executive officer shall require that the applicant show that it has notified
the DOT of its request and that it has consulted with the DOT in regard thereto
and taken into account the DOT'S needs and requirements.
