Haw. Code R. § 19-170-7 - Meetings; generally
(a) The board may
meet and exercise its powers in any part of the State of Hawaii. Except as
provided in sections
92-4 and
92-5, HRS, all of the
board meetings are open to the public. The parliamentary procedure to be
utilized by the board in the conduct of its meetings shall be based on the
current edition of Robert's Rules of Order, Newly Revised, only if it does not
conflict with chapter 91, HRS, or these rules.
(b) The board shall allow all interested
persons an opportunity to submit data, views, arguments or present oral
testimony on any agenda item in an open meeting. The board may provide for the
recordation of all oral testimony presented.
(c) The board shall comply with the
provisions of section
92-7,
HRS, by providing the required written public notice of any meeting.
