Haw. Code R. § 19-42-162 - Jurisdiction of other agencies
The United States Army Corps of Engineers, the department of health, and the department of land and natural resources may have certain jurisdiction over navigable waters. The approval of these agencies shall also be secured before performing work within their jurisdictions. When directed, the applicant shall notify the United States Coast Guard of such work for publication of a "Notice to Mariners".
