Haw. Code R. § 4-1-47 - Subpoenas
(a) The issuance of subpoenas by the board
shall be in accordance with section
92-16,
HRS.
(b) Application for subpoenas
for the production of documentary evidence shall be made in writing to the
board or to the hearing officer. The application shall be reasonable in scope
and specify as exactly as possible the documents desired, showing their general
relevancy.
