Haw. Code R. § 4-27-3 - Division responsibility

(a) The division shall maintain a list of all registered brands in a separate book known as the "Hawaii Brand Book."

(b) All applications for brand registration shall be approved by the division to ensure that similar or duplicate brands are not being registered.

(c) Each brand registered pursuant to section 142-41, Hawaii Revised Statutes, shall expire pursuant to the requirements of section 142-42, Hawaii Revised Statutes. The division shall notify all registered brand owners when the re-registration period opens and the media shall be advised by the department's public relations officer.
