Haw. Code R. § 4-8-46 - Repayment
(a) Loans made shall be repaid in accordance
with the terms of the note and payments shall be applied first to interest then
to principal.
(b) The department
shall transmit repayments to the State and County of Hawaii in accordance with
appropriate contractual agreements.
(c) Additional payments in any sums, or the
payment of the entire principal may be made at any date within the time period
of the loan without penalty.
