Haw. Code R. § 5-31-40 - Retention of records
(a) Case records
shall be retained, by the agency for at least three years from the date of
closure, in accordance with 45 C.F.R. Part 74, Subpart D.
(b) The agency may require of the requestor
payment of a reasonable fee for the reproduction and processing of
records.
