Haw. Code R. § 8-89-9 - Right to seek other relief
Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to limit or waive the right of the complainant to seek other relief as provided under federal and state laws. A complainant has the right to file a discrimination complaint with the federal or state government, including law enforcement agencies:
(1) Without filing a
complaint under this chapter;
(2)
At the same time a complaint is filed under this chapter;
(3) At any time during the pendency of a
complaint filed under this chapter; or
(4) After a complaint filed under this
chapter has been addressed.
