Ill. Admin. Code tit. 11, § 200.50 - Appointment of Director of Inter-Track and Simulcast Wagering
a) Pursuant to Section 26(h)(12)(F) of the
Act, the Board shall name and appoint a State Director of this wagering
who shall be a representative of the Board and whose duty it shall be to
supervise the conduct of inter-track wagering as may be provided for by the
rules and regulations of the Board.
b) The Director of Inter-Track and Simulcast
Wagering shall be appointed by the Executive Director.
c) The Executive Director may appoint the
State Director of Mutuels as the Director of Inter-Track and Simulcast
Wagering.
d) The Director of
Inter-Track and Simulcast Wagering shall:
1)
Supervise and verify Illinois simulcast wagering pools totals for each wagering
day. Verification shall be the basis for computing State privilege taxes,
licensee commissions and purses.
2)
Inspect inter-track and simulcast wagering facilities for compliance with the
Act and any rules and regulations of the Board.
3) Report any irregularities to the State
Director of Mutuels.
