Ill. Admin. Code tit. 14, § 178.170 - Acceptable Characters of Print
The limited liability company name must consist of letters of the English alphabet, Arabic or Roman numerals, and/or symbols capable of being readily reproduced by the Office of the Secretary of State [805 ILCS 5/4.05 ].
a)
Letters of the English alphabet include upper case or capital letters only; no
distinction as to type face or font is recognized.
b) Arabic numerals include: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
6, 7, 8, 9
c) Roman numerals
characters include: I, V, X, L, C, D, M
d) Symbols recognized by the Secretary of
State include: @ # $ % & * () _ + = : " ; / ?,.
