Ill. Admin. Code tit. 35, § 365.130 - Projects and Activities Eligible for Assistance
Funds available under the WPCLP and this Part shall be used only for providing financial assistance for the following projects or activities:
a) to any public loan
applicant for construction of publicly owned treatment works;
b) for the implementation of a management
program established under
33 USC
1329;
c) for development and implementation of a
conservation and management plan under
33 USC
1330;
d) for the construction, repair, or
replacement of decentralized wastewater treatment systems that treat municipal
wastewater or domestic sewage;
e)
for measures to manage, reduce, treat, or recapture stormwater or subsurface
drainage water;
f) to any public
loan applicant for measures to reduce the demand for publicly owned treatment
works capacity through water conservation, efficiency, or reuse;
g) for the development and implementation of
watershed projects meeting the criteria set forth in
33 USC
1274;
h) to any public loan applicant for measures
to reduce the energy consumption needs for publicly owned treatment
works;
i) for reusing or recycling
wastewater, stormwater, or subsurface drainage water;
j) for measures to increase the security of
publicly owned treatment works;
k)
to any qualified nonprofit entity, as determined by USEPA, to provide
assistance to owners and operators of small and medium publicly owned treatment
works:
1) to plan, develop, and obtain
financing for eligible projects under this subsection (k), including planning,
design, and associated preconstruction activities; and
2) to assist the treatment works in achieving
compliance with the CWA.
