Ill. Admin. Code tit. 35, § 703.225 - Trial Burns for Existing Incinerators
For the purpose of determining feasibility of compliance with
the performance standards of 35 Ill. Adm. Code
724.443 and
of determining adequate operating conditions under 35 Ill. Adm. Code
724.445,
the applicant for a permit for an existing hazardous waste incinerator must
prepare and submit a trial burn plan and perform a trial burn in accordance
with Sections
703.205(b)
and
703.223(b)
through (e) and (g) through (j) or, instead,
submit other information as specified in Section
703.205(c).
The Agency must announce its intention to approve the trial burn plan in
accordance with the timing and distribution requirements of Section
703.223(f).
The contents of the notice must include the following: the name and telephone
number of a contact
