Ill. Admin. Code tit. 68, § 1456.80 - Inactive Status
a) Licensed
respiratory care practitioners who notify the Division, on forms provided by
the Division, may place their licenses on inactive status and shall be excused
from paying renewal fees until they notify the Division in writing of the
intention to resume active practice.
b) Any licensed respiratory care practitioner
seeking restoration from inactive status shall do so in accordance with Section
1456.90 of this Part.
c) Any respiratory care practitioner whose
license is on inactive status shall not use the title "licensed respiratory
care practitioner" in the State of Illinois. Any person violating this
subsection shall be considered to be practicing without a license and shall be
subject to the disciplinary provisions of the Act.
