Ill. Admin. Code tit. 77, § 390.830 - Consultation Services
a) The
facility shall have all arrangements for each consultant's services in a
written agreement setting forth the services to be provided. These agreements
shall be updated annually.
b) The
facility shall designate a staff member to provide social services to
residents. If the staff member designated to provide social services is not a
social worker, the facility shall have an effective arrangement with a social
worker to provide social service consultation.
c) The facility shall designate a staff
member to be the director of the activities program. If the activity director
is not a Registered Occupational Therapist, a Therapeutic Recreation
Specialist, or a social worker, the facility shall have a written agreement
with a person from one of those disciplines, to provide adequate and sufficient
consultation to the Activity Director to assure that programming meets the
assessed needs of the residents.
d)
The facility shall designate a staff member skilled in record maintenance and
preservation to be responsible for maintaining and preserving records. If the
designated person is not a health information management consultant, then that
person shall receive adequate consultation from a health information management
consultant.
e) The facility shall
arrange for a consultant pharmacist as set forth in Section
390.1410.
f) The facility shall arrange for a medical
advisory committee as set forth in Section
390.1020(b).
g) The facility shall arrange for an advisory
dentist as set forth in Section
390.1050(a).
