Ill. Admin. Code tit. 77, § 515.170 - Employer Responsibility
a) No
employer shall permit any employee to perform any services for which a license,
certificate, or other authorization is required under the Act, unless the
employer first makes a good faith attempt to verify that the employee possesses
all necessary and valid licenses, certificates, and authorizations required
under the Act. (Section 3.160(a-5) of the Act)
b) Any person or entity that employs or
supervises a person's activities as a First Responder or Emergency Medical
Dispatcher shall cooperate with the Department's efforts to monitor and enforce
compliance by those individuals with the requirements of the Act or this Part.
