Ill. Admin. Code tit. 77, § 843.80 - Mitigation and Abatement of Lead-Based Paint, Soil and Dust Hazards
a) All lead-based
paint, soil and dust hazard mitigation and abatement shall be conducted by a
Department-licensed Lead Abatement Contractor in accordance with the Lead
Poisoning Prevention Code.
b)
Additional repairs and clean-up costs associated with a failed final
clearance evaluation, including follow-up tests, shall be the responsibility of
the person performing the work under the LDAP [410 ILCS
43/16(d) ].
