Ill. Admin. Code tit. 89, § 120.323 - Suspension of Paternity Establishment and Obtaining Medical Support Upon Finding of Good Cause
a) Upon a
caretaker relative's claim of good cause, the Department will suspend all
activities to establish paternity or secure medical support payments until a
final determination is made on the good cause claim.
b) The Department shall not undertake to
establish paternity or secure medical support payments when the Department
determines that good cause for exemption exists.
c) This suspension shall be in accordance
with 89 Ill. Adm. Code
160.45, Suspension of Child
Support Enforcement Upon Finding of Good Cause.
