Ill. Admin. Code tit. 92, § 1040.60 - Release of Information Regarding a Disposition of Court Supervision
a) Information
pertaining to a driver's placement on court supervision for any offense as
listed in Section 1040.20 shall not be released or
made available to any source, except as expressly provided in subsection
(b).
b) Information pertaining to a
driver's placement on court supervision for any offense shall be released to
law enforcement officials, the driver, the parent or guardian of an under the
age of 18 driver who holds an instruction permit or a graduated driver's
license, his/her attorney, or the driver's licensing administrator of any state
upon receipt of the proper request. This information shall also be released to
motor carriers or prospective motor carriers after notification to the driver
or prospective driver. The Office of the Secretary of State shall provide
sufficient information on the driver's driving abstract and supervision history
record to enable the requesting party to obtain specific details of the matter
by contacting the court that has previously granted the disposition of
supervision.
