511 IAC 7-32-49 - "Individualized family service plan" or "IFSP" defined

Sec. 49.

"Individualized family service plan" or "IFSP" means the written plan for providing first steps early intervention services to an eligible child and family, from the child's birth up to three (3) years of age, under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, 20 U.S.C. 1436. The IFSP is a process and document that lists a family's:

(1) priorities;
(2) concerns; and
(3) resources;

in regard to their infant or toddler with a disability.
