Iowa Admin. Code r. 11-101.10 - Waiver

As the purpose of these rules is to facilitate the system of parking, to encourage compliance and to reduce conflict, any rule contained herein, unless otherwise provided by law, may be suspended or waived by the director to aid law enforcement, to prevent undue hardship in any particular instance or to prevent unnecessary conflict or injustice. All suspensions and waivers shall be in writing. The director may change space and lot designations, excluding those in legislative parking areas, temporarily or permanently, to maintain appropriate availability of parking on the capitol complex. Waiver of these rules shall be requested in accordance with 11-Chapter 9.
