Iowa Admin. Code r. 193E-18.4 - Sources of information
Without limitation, the following nonexclusive list of information sources may form the basis for the initiation of a disciplinary investigation or proceeding:
1. News
articles or other media sources.
2.
Reports filed with the commission by the commissioner of insurance pursuant to
Iowa Code section 272C.4(9).
3. Complaints filed with the commission by
any member of the public.
4.
License applications or other documents submitted to the commission.
5. Reports to the commission from any
regulatory or law enforcement agency from any jurisdiction.
6. Commission audits of licensee compliance,
such as those involving continuing education, trust accounts, or errors and
omissions insurance.
