The division of vocational rehabilitation services is
established in the department of education and is responsible for providing
services to potentially eligible and eligible individuals with disabilities
leading to competitive integrated employment in accordance with Iowa Code
chapter 259, the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended, the federal
Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. Section
301, et seq.), and the corresponding federal
regulations.
