Iowa Admin. Code r. 282-20.4 - Extensions

(1) For licenses, authorizations, and certificates that require renewal credits, a one-year Class A extension may be issued if the applicant needs more time to complete the renewal requirements. Other authorizations may be extended with the approval of the executive director.
(2) A final Class E emergency extension of a Class A or B license may be issued if the applicant provides transcripts of coursework completed during the term of the expired license and a program of study or registration for coursework to be completed during the term of the Class E emergency extension license.
(3) An application to extend a coaching authorization will require verification of an approved concussion training course and no additional extensions will be granted.
