A professional service licensee is an individual prepared to provide professional services in Iowa schools but whose preparation has not required completion of the teacher preparation coursework set forth in rule 281-79.15(256). Degrees and coursework shall be completed through a college or university accredited by an institutional accrediting agency as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
