Iowa Admin. Code r. 351-6.1 - Scope of chapter

Pursuant to Iowa Code section 68B.32(1), the Iowa ethics and campaign disclosure board is to set standards for, investigate complaints relating to, and monitor the ethics of officials, employees, and candidates for office in the executive branch of state government. Pursuant to Iowa Code section 68B.32A(13), the board is required to establish rules relating to ethical conduct for the executive branch of state government. This chapter sets the standards and establishes the rules for the ethical conduct of persons in the executive branch of state government.

This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code sections 68B.32(1) and 68B.32A(13).
