Iowa Admin. Code r. 441-54.2 - [Effective 8/1/2025] Maintenance of case records
A facility must maintain a case folder for each individual residing in the facility that contains the following:
1. Contract between the facility and the
resident on a form prescribed by the department.
2. Physician's statement certifying that the
resident does not require nursing services.
3. Proof of expenditures from resident's
"personal needs" allowance.
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 249.12.
