Iowa Admin. Code r. 481-552.9 - [Effective 7/16/2025] Delegation of functions
(1)
Technicians and pharmacy support
persons. A supervising pharmacist may delegate any nonclinical
function to a pharmacy technician or pharmacy support person in accordance with
the individual's registration, training, and education.
(2)
Pharmacist-interns. A
preceptor or supervising pharmacist is responsible for the professional
oversight of a pharmacist-intern and may delegate any task in accordance with
the education and training of the pharmacist-intern.
